The eminent English teacher trainer Mrs. Olga conducted a 6 day training program to 60 students to improve their English skills. The following are the benefits of this program:
- The student’s entering University in fields such as Science and Commerce have to study in English medium. Thus this transition from Tamil to English is extremely difficult for these students hence this program was very helpful for those students and they believe the transition will be less difficult now.
- Leadership training for these young leaders created motivation and self-confidence among these students.
- Stage fear and fear of public speaking was addressed students went out of the program more confident than they were before.
- They were taught how to answer to the questions in examination and the style of writing in exams.
- Teachers were taught creative and artistic ways of teaching.
All who attended this program said they really enjoyed it and learnt a lot. They were all very grateful to Mr. Olga and CORS Sri Lanka for organizing such a program.
