Providing Mirco Finance loans is one of the many ways CORD Sri Lanka empowers women who have be effected by various calamities. Recently CORD granted interest free micro finance loans to groups of small income business women to help them with their start business ventures. These women have jointly started businesses such as small corner shops in their villages, snack making and selling to local hotels and weaving Palmayrah mats.
