The English Work Shop conducted by CORD Office, was help on 11th and 12th February 2013 in the Office Premises. All sponsor children from Kokuvil, Kondavil and Chavakachcheri were present at this Workshop. The first day consisted of teaching children English through games such as matching the balloons and learning words through games, the first day concluded with a sing-along session with the volunteers and CORD staff which everybody enjoyed. The second day mainly comprised of worksheets where children were divided into age groups and taught colors, days of the week, spelling etc. depending on the age group they belonged to. The main objective of this workshop was to help children understand English in a easy, fun-filled way.
The children seem to have enjoyed the workshop so much they were sad on the second day when the workshop was concluding.

I attended the English Workshop on both days held at CORD Office, I am very fond of the Teachers who taught us. They taught us English Words that we did not know, they also taught us English Songs, and we sang along with them. I felt very happy and really enjoyed the workshop.
