CORD Jaffna organized a business development training for self help group leaders and for the CORD field staff on 8th of November. 23 participants attended this training to improve their income, marketing, and business planning skills. The Colombo Chamber of Commerce conducted this training with excellent facilitation and presentations to strengthen the confidence of the participants.

MS.Subanthiran Kalavani; staff of CORD stated that she realized she also could do a side business to improve her income and she identified techniques to empower more beneficiaries to get them involved in small income generating activities. She wants to encourage and empower the Self Help Group members who currently lack interest and motivation to continue their income generating activities.
