A one day work shop titled “Right Thinking” was held at Kanagapuram Maha Vidyalaya, Kilinochchi on May 16th. It attracted almost 140 students, aged 11-17, from various leading schools in Kilinochchi covering very timely topics.
The workshop included a talk and discussion on “Right Thinking”, Psychological & Motivational session, a video presentation, Creativity development activities and topic relevant games and a Meditation session.
Kids were seen enjoying themselves including the seemingly simple activity such as playing with the a balloon.
The need for more of these workshops were reinforced when we overheard a lot of the kids say ‘we haven’t had this much fun and peace in a long time. Didn’t realize a whole day has flown by and now we have to go home (said with sadness)”
