Children’s Workshop by Linda Rose

A one day Children’s Workshop was conducted by Linda Rose from the UK  on 19th October 2013 at the  Hondavil Hindu Mahavidyalayam where 42 children participated. Many games and activities were done such as Parachute cloth game, Drawing, Golden hands and puppet show.

Parachute game

This game encouraged cooperation among the children, promoted social interaction and develops a sense of rhythm.

 Drawing 

The children were requested to draw/ painting anything they desired and their creativity was calculated by Linda and they were taught methods to improve their creativity.

Golden Hands

The children’s hands were painted with gold paint and their hands affixed in a lengthy paper. The kids were very excited to have gold hands.

Puppet show

The children were divided into four groups and requested to create a story which lasted about 15 minutes and do a puppet show for all the other students and audience at the end of the children’s workshop.
